Abstract

Vor dem Hintergund des 11. September 2001 sowie des 13. Dezember 2001, dem Tag des terroristischen Überfalls auf das indische Parlament, der dann zum Anlass wurde für einen gigantischen militärischen Truppenaufmarsch entlang der indisch-pakistanischen Grenze, stoßen Bücher, die sich mit Pakistan, dem Kaschmirproblem und dem fundamentalistischen Islam befassen, in Indien auf ein großes Interesse. Der Autor stellt in seinem Beitrag, der zuerst 2002 in den KAS-Auslandsinformationen veröffentlicht wurde, einige dieser Neuerscheinungen vor.

Translation of abstract (English)

The review essay, which was firstly published in 2002 in the journal "KAS-Auslandsinformationen", deals with new books publications about Pakistan, the Kashmir Conflict and Islamic Terrorism in India as well as in South Asia and world wide.
