Abstract
In dieser Sammelbesprechungen, die zuerst 2007 in der Zeitschrift "KAS-Auslandsinformationen" erschienen ist, werden 18, zumeist deutschsprachige, Büchern vorgestellt, die in neuerer Zeit erschienen sind und sich mit gesellschaftlichen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen in Indien beschäftigen.
Translation of abstract (English)
The review essay was firstly published 2007 in the journal "KAS-Auslandsinformationen" and deals with current trends in Indian politics, economy as well as the society. Some of the 18 books contain also historical topics.
