Abstract
Dutzende thailändische Regimekritiker*innen sind seit der Ergreifung der Macht durch die Armee im Mai 2014 ins Ausland geflohen, viele davon nach Laos. Dort leben sie unregistriert und im Verborgenen. Im Dezember 2018 wurden der prominente politische Aktivist Surachai Danwattananusorn und zwei seiner Mitbewohner aus ihrem Versteck verschleppt.
