Abstract
Pekings »Belt and Road«-Initiative knüpft an die einstige weltpolitische Bedeutung des »Reichs der Mitte« an und entwirft gleichzeitig einen Bauplan zukünftiger Größe. Durch den Ausbau von Verkehrsinfrastruktur, Energieversorgung und Wirtschaftskorridoren zwischen Asien, Afrika und Europa soll ein »neues Goldenes Zeitalter der Globalisierung« eingeleitet werden.
