Abstract
In unserer ersten Blickwechsel-Ausgabe zu Taiwan beschrieben wir die historische Abfolge von Protestbewegungen und die Entstehung von NGOs in Taiwan: Angefangen mit der »Wild Lily«-Bewegung 1990, gefolgt von der Rothemden-Protestbewegung 2006, die sich gegen Korruption richtete, der spontanen »Wild Strawberries«-Bewegung 2008, einer Demonstration gegen Polizeigewalt bis hin zur »Sunlower«-Bewegung 2014, der Besetzung des Parlamentsgebäudes in Taipeh als Protest gegen die Verabschiedung des »Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement« (CSSTA) zwischen Taiwan und China. Dieser Blickwechsel vertieft nun den Einblick in ausgewählte soziale Bewegungen.
