Abstract
Seit sich Thailands Militär am 22. Mai 2014 an die Macht geputscht hat, wird die Menschenrechtslage immer desolater. Eine Rückkehr zur Demokratie liegt in weiter Ferne. In Zweckgemeinschaft mit dem unpopulären König Vajiralongkorn sucht die Junta ihre eigenen Machtansprüche und die des übrigen alten Establishments langfristig zu zementieren.
