Abstract
Anlässlich ihres 50-jährigen Bestehens hat die Deutsch-Indische Gesellschaft eine Festschrift herausgegeben, in der in verschiedenen Aufsätzen die Entstehung und Entwicklung dieser Institutionen zwischen 1953 und 2003 nachgezeichnet wird. Weitere Abschnitte des Sammelbandes beschäftigen sich mit den deutsch-indischen Beziehungen sowie der Intergation von Indern in die deutsche Gesellschaft.
Translation of abstract (English)
The Festschrift contains various articles about the origins and the development of the German-Indian Society between 1953 and 2003. The other two parts deal with the relations between Germany and India as well as the integration of Indians in the German society.
