Abstract
In the light of this US-Iran hostility, the worsening of US-Pakistan relations, an Iran-Pakistan rapprochement, and the Indo-Pakistan rivalry, there is no doubt that the matrix of interests of major regional and non-regional players is quite complex, contradictory and will remain harmful to Afghanistan's development.
