Abstract
The realization of Gross National Happiness through the lived experience of people in formal organisations requires a compatible organisational infrastructure. This paper makes two main points: First, one's experience in organisations is a source of happiness or suffering, and second, there is a viable way of operating organisations to allow happiness to flourish if people are willing to take responsibility for its emergence.
