Abstract

Dieser Beitrag ist die Fortsetzung eines Artikels, der sich mit der politischen Situation in Indien während des Nostand-Regimes beschäftigt. Er erschien zuerst 1976 in der Zeitschrift "Blätter des iz3w" und zieht Bilanz nach einem Jahr des Notstandregimes von Indira Gandhi in Indien. Darin kommt der Autor zum Schluss, dass sich die innenpolitische Lage in Indien noch immer durch Unterdrückung der Opposition und Pressezensur auszeichnet. Gleichzeitig verschlechert sich die wirtschaftliche Situation der Bevölkerung zunehmend, während große Unternehmen weiterhin von Vergünstigungen profitieren. Insgesamt stellt der Autor in seinem Beitrag fest, dass sich Indien auf den besten Weg befindet, zu einem von der Nehru-Gandhi-Dynastie beherrschten Land zu entwickeln.

Translation of abstract (English)

The essay, which was firstly published 1976 in the German journal "Blätter des iz3w", is the second part of an analysis of the political development in India during the emergency rule of Indira Gandhi between 1975 und 1977. The author points out that the political situation is marked by repression of the opposition and censorship as well as the decline of the economic situation of the mass. In the author's view India is on the best way to become a dictatorship ruled by the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty.
